Learn about the various modalities and services available to you below. Healflow Yoga, Qigong and Mat Pilates

with Ivor Edmonds of Sága

Ivor’s “Healflow Yoga” class is a trauma-informed/trauma-sensitive gentle slow Vinyasa flow that works its way up and down the body using carefully selected postures to target the twelve major organs and promote natural and healthy function from the inside out.

Ivor’s Qigong classes promote balance, alignment, structural strength, circulation, longevity and mindfulness.

Ivor’s Mat Pilates classes follow a series of exercises from within the Pilates Method founded by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s that focus on postural alignment, breathing, core stability, controlled, targeted movement and flexibility, challenging students’ muscles to strengthen from the core out.

Ivor Edmonds, MHA, YACEP, C.Qg, Reiki M is a healer with 20 years of experience working with homeless populations, victims of violent crime and trauma, gangs, the mentally ill, and seniors.

As a Master of Gendai Reiki Ho, a Level II Usui Reiki Healer, an E-RYT 200 certified Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, certified Qi Gong and Kemetic Meditation Instructor and soon-to-be-Certified Pilates Instructor, Ivor has taught seminars, corporate wellness programs and classes at Boston Public Schools, Oberlin College, Harvard Divinity School’s Reiki Association (2006), St. Francis House, Action for Boston Community Development, Tewksbury Hospital and Boston Medical Center.

Ivor has also created and implemented many programs integrating traditional healing methods in modern contexts, including an ongoing yoga program for the MIT Track/Field and Cross Country Teams. He has worked with patients in hospital settings and with individuals, as well.

Ivor runs classes, workshops, reiki certifications, Qigong apprenticeships and cares for private clients through his Boston-based yoga and wellness studio, Taireiki. A new resident of Peterborough, who has been connected to the area since 2003, Ivor is also Brianna’s partner and the co-founder of Sága.

Chakra Flow Yoga

with Sarah Aborn of SHAKTI Healing Arts

Drawing from Kundalini Yoga, Bikram, Vinyasa Flow and Anusara Yoga, Sarah’s sessions are tailored to you and your goals and include a follow-up lesson plan to keep you going strong in your personal practice. These sessions are formulated specifically to what you wish to address physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Sarah Aborn is an Embodiment Coach, drawing from two decades steeped in the Healing Arts to help people find freedom in their bodies, mind, and emotions.

Sarah became certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner in 1998 through Heartwood Institute in Garberville, California, and holds certifications in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, and Polarity Therapy. She completed two 200 hour Teacher Trainings in an Anusara Inspired program and Kundalini Yoga, and has been teaching since 2008. She is also trained as a Life Coach and EFT Practitioner.

Sarah's sessions begin by determining what her clients are passionate and purposeful about and what old belief systems need upgrading to support their optimal unfolding. Weaving together conscious breathing, sacred movement, coaching, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and guided meditation, Sarah supports her clients and students in dismantling ingrained patterns that keep them from experiencing their FULL, unlimited, creative potential. Currently Sarah coaches groups and individuals in person and online, teaches Yoga, and leads workshops and retreats.

Yoga is a practice of breathe and body connection, to cultivate stillness and equilibrium, especially with respect to our mind. After all, yoga is intended to prepare the body for meditation. Yoga works for all bodies, all ages, all abilities and can be adapted to anyone.

Shae Sterrett is a holistic wellness practitioner offering a unique collection of services that help people befriend their body, quiet their mind, manage stress, and live with more ease, intention and clarity. Shae offers Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Thai Yoga Bodywork, Reiki, vibrational sound healing, yoga and meditation, trauma informed yoga and meditation, and life coaching as stand alone or collective experiences to support a personal journey and evolution.

Shae curates classes, workshops, retreats and has created the Evolution Life Mentoring program to help people realize a life of wellness that supports the highest version of themselves.
